Personal Care

Professional, compassionate assistance with daily living activities, empowering seniors to maintain their independence and dignity at home.

Empowering Independence with Dignity

At SilverAge Inc., we understand that asking for help with deeply personal activities can be difficult. Our Personal Care services are designed to provide the necessary support while fiercely protecting our clients' dignity and autonomy.

Our highly trained, carefully matched caregivers offer a steady hand and a warm presence, helping seniors start and end their days with confidence.

What is Personal Care?

Personal care encompasses hands-on assistance with the essential activities of daily living (ADLs). These are the fundamental tasks required to live safely and comfortably at home, which may become challenging due to aging, illness, or mobility issues.

Our caregivers are trained to provide this support discreetly, safely, and always at the client's preferred pace.

Our Personal Care Services Include:

  • Bathing & Showering: Safe assistance with full baths, showers, or sponge baths, including transfer assistance to prevent slips and falls.
  • Grooming & Hygiene: Help with oral care, hair care, shaving, and applying lotions to ensure our clients look and feel their best.
  • Dressing Assistance: Support with selecting weather-appropriate clothing and navigating difficult buttons or zippers.
  • Toileting & Incontinence Care: Discreet, sensitive assistance with using the restroom, incontinence management, and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Mobility & Transfers: Safe guidance moving around the house, transferring from bed to chair, and using mobility aids.
  • Feeding Assistance: Gentle help during meal times for those with physical limitations or swallowing difficulties.

The SilverAge Approach

We don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to personal care. During our initial assessment, we learn about your loved one's specific routines, preferences, and limitations.

Does Mom prefer her showers in the evening? Does Dad like his hair parted a specific way? By matching these preferences and maintaining consistent caregiver assignments, we build a foundation of trust that makes personal care feel less like a service and more like a supportive friendship.
